Discover Streaming is a music streaming platform operated by ON-SET™. We host music uploaded by independent artists using Discover for Artists and make it available to listeners free of charge. Our registered contact address is hello@discoverstreaming.com.
Artists own their music. When an artist publishes to Discover Streaming, they grant ON-SET™ a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, and stream that content for the purpose of operating the platform. This licence exists only while the content is published. Unpublishing an album removes it from the platform and ends the licence.
Discover Streaming does not claim ownership of, or rights to, any music, artwork, or other content uploaded by artists. We do not sell, licence, or sub-licence artist content to third parties.
By publishing content to Discover Streaming, the artist confirms that:
Artists remain solely responsible for ensuring they have the rights to everything they upload.
Discover Streaming is free to use. You do not pay to listen, and we will not introduce a paid listener tier without advance notice and the ability to opt out.
If you believe that content on Discover Streaming infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to us. To be valid, your notice must include:
Send notices to: hello@discoverstreaming.com with subject line "DMCA Takedown", or use the contact form.
We review all valid notices and act on them within 48 hours. Where content is removed, we notify the artist who uploaded it and provide them the opportunity to submit a counter-notice if they believe the takedown was made in error.
If your content was removed following a takedown notice and you believe the removal was incorrect, you may submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include:
Send counter-notices to: hello@discoverstreaming.com with subject "DMCA Counter-Notice".
Discover Streaming will terminate the accounts of artists who are found to be repeat infringers. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts where there is credible evidence of infringement, without waiting for a formal takedown notice.
We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the platform:
We do not sell this data. We do not use it for advertising. Play counts are aggregated and visible to the artist whose music was played. Individual listener data is not shared with artists.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, send an email to hello@discoverstreaming.com with subject "Delete My Account". We will process your request within 30 days.
We aim to keep Discover Streaming available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the platform down for maintenance, updates, or in the event of a significant technical or legal issue. We will provide notice where possible.
We reserve the right to shut down or significantly change the platform. If we do so, we will give artists at least 30 days notice so they can retrieve their content before removal.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify users by email. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
